The Junior League of Greater Elmira Corning is a group of women committed to promoting the spirit of service. We develop women's potential, and improve our communities by training and empowering women to lead and serve. Through the power of our numbers, we channel the knowledge, experience and influence of our members to benefit worthwhile organizations. We help each other find ways to achieve our personal and professional goals. |

The Bargain Hut Our biggest fundraiser, The Bargain Hut, is a resale store we like to refer to as "the recycling center." Clothes are consigned or donated to the store. We make sure they are in good condition and sell the clothes at extremely affordable prices to members in our community (recycle number one.) Profits from the store are used to reinvest in the community through our member sponsored grants, community grants and an annual scholarship (recycle number two.) The resale store is located at 1051 College Ave., Elmira, NY 14901 (607)732-9846 Store hours are Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday from 10-5pm, Thursday 10-6pm
and Saturday 10-4pm. Consignments are taken by appointment. Donations of good quality clothing can be made any time.
